1. Fill the glass jar halfway with dried Rhodiola rosea root.

2. Pour alcohol over the herb until it’s fully submerged. Make sure to cover the herb entirely.

3. Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid.

4. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for at least 4-6 weeks, shaking it gently every day.

5. After the steeping period, strain the liquid through a cheesecloth or fine strainer into a clean container.

6. Pour the strained tincture into amber glass bottles with droppers for easy use.

7. Label the bottles with the contents and date.



  • Powder:




• Dried Rhodiola rosea root (coarsely chopped)

• Coffee grinder or herb grinder




1. Ensure that the dried Rhodiola rosea root is thoroughly dried; any moisture can affect the powder’s quality.

2. Place the dried Rhodiola rosea root pieces in a coffee grinder or herb grinder.

3. Grind the root pieces into a fine powder. This may take a few minutes.
