How to Use

  • Tea:




• 1-2 teaspoons of dried Valerian Root

• 8-10 ounces of hot water (not boiling)

2. Place 1-2 teaspoons of dried Valerian Root in a cup.

3. Pour the hot (but not boiling) water over the Valerian Root

4. Cover the cup and steep for 10-15 minutes.

5. Strain, sip, and experience the soothing and tranquil herbal infusion.



  • Tincture:




• Dried Valerian Root

• Alcohol (vodka or brandy with at least 40% alcohol content)

• Glass jar with a tight-fitting lid

• Cheesecloth or fine strainer

• Amber glass tincture bottles with dropper




1. Fill a glass jar halfway with dried Valerian Root

2. Submerge the herb in alcohol (vodka or brandy).

3. Seal the jar and store it for 4-6 weeks, shaking daily.

4. Strain the tincture through cheesecloth or a fine strainer into a clean container.

5. Transfer the strained tincture into amber glass bottles with droppers for easy use.

6. Label the bottles with the contents and date.



  • Powder:




• Dried Burdock root




1. Ensure the dried Valerian Root is completely dry.

2. Place the dried leaves in a coffee grinder or herb grinder.

3. Grind the leaves into a fine powder, which may take a few minutes.

4. Store the Valerian Root powder in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.



  • Capsules:




• Valerian Root powder

• Empty gelatin or vegetarian capsules

• Capsule-filling machine (optional)




1. Measure your desired Valerian Root powder dosage (usually 300-600 mg per capsule).

2. Fill empty gelatin or vegetarian capsules with the measured powder.

3. Seal the capsules following the manufacturer’s instructions.

4. Store the filled capsules in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
